Stellar Consulting named Microsoft Partner of the Year

Stellar Consulting is Microsoft’s New Zealand Data Analytics Partner of the Year for 2015.

The award was one of many bestowed this evening at the annual Microsoft Partners gala in Auckland.

“The quality of entries this year has been truly outstanding, and shows the extent to which partners have been joining Microsoft on our journey of transformation towards becoming the productivity and platform company for a mobile-first, cloud first world,” Microsoft New Zealand’s SMB and Partner Director Brent Kendrick told Reseller News.

“Stellar Consulting have provided a comprehensive BI platform to their customer, handling the challenge of complex data integration across multiple source systems,” Mr Kendrick said.

“Their solution for Toyota New Zealand is recognised for the innovation and software development for managing complex Meta data and data integration.”

Finalists - 2015 Microsoft NZ Data Analytics Partner of the Year

Stellar was one of four finalists for the award.

Stellar, which has already been recognised as a Microsoft Gold Data Analytics Partner and a Silver Data Platform Partner, provided Toyota with a BI solution that integrates finance, sales, vehicle management, parts inventory and customer relationship management systems, as well as external industry data, into a “single source of truth” for New Zealand’s leading automobile brand.

The use of the Microsoft BI platform allowed Stellar to design SharePoint dashboards that closely resemble the Excel charts and tables that were widely used at Toyota. This permitted incremental, low impact release cycles to transition users onto the enterprise BI platform with minimal training and disruption.

“The customer also benefited from the latest SQL server platform for performance reporting and Analytics,” Mr Kendrick added.
