Stellar at Internet of Things conference

Internet of Things - Stellar Consulting

Stellar Consulting was a sponsor of the Internet of Things conference at the Viaduct Events Centre in Auckland on 10 November.

Stellar consulting partner Travis Barker, along with Microsoft Solution Specialist Myles Matheson, presented a session on the Future of Things.

Travis referred to the growing momentum around IoT and the data considerations and analytics associated with this global trend. He emphasised that the IoT is not so much about things – it’s about data.

During the conference Stellar conducted a prize draw for a new Microsoft Band, the latest wearable health and fitness device from Microsoft. The Microsoft Band is representative of the many thousands of connected devices set to forever change the data paradigm.

Stellar believes that the sheer increase in both quantity and quality of data available to individuals and organisations in the future will have a far reaching impact on business.
